2009 & 2010 SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL

The Cromer Kingfishers Junior Rugby League Football Club has been established since 1969 and is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers for the promotion of the game of rugby league and its associated activities for the children of Cromer and the surrounding areas. The Club has a strong emphasis on being community focused, and it would not be possible for the Club to continue if the Club did not have the support of sponsors like you to assist financially. In 2008 the Kingfishers formed 16 teams with 2 divisions in many junior age groups and saw the return of both A & Reserve grade teams. In 2009 we anticipate an even stronger year with more teams and individuals joining the club.

The annual running costs of this football club are in excess of $100,000.00, which includes expenses such as ground maintenance, training equipment, player uniforms, insurances, trophies, affiliation fees, League Safe Courses, first aid kits and the list goes on.

In order to build the foundations for another successful year of the MIGHTY CROMER KINGFISHERS we are actively seeking the financial support of our Kingfishers family, local community & local businesses, through a range of sponsorship packages and donation schemes.

We as a club actively encourage our members to support our sponsors businesses, all sponsorship packages provide the sponsor with opportunities to enhance their business exposure. The Cromer Kingfishers JRLC consist of 300 active players, team managers and coaches, parents and extended families creating a captive audience in excess of 1200 people, ranging in age from 6-80+ years.

Direct exposure to sponsors businesses will be provided through:

• Business logo clearly displayed on nominated garment / equipment in specified location;
• Direct link on the Kingfishers website to sponsors website;
• Advertisement on the Kingfishers business directory page;(coming soon)
• Sponsors business name displayed on Kingfishers website & signage board at the club house and in the monthly newsletters;
• Business Showcase – showcase your business/products on Saturday Junior game days or Sunday Snr game days at home ground (by booking only - interest for dates to be expressed to committee for consideration and acceptance.)
• Promotion of your business through the placement of your business card and /or advertising flyer at home ground, and
• Appreciation certificate.

CLUB LEVEL SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

KINGFISHERS CLUB PLAYERS JERSEY SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO, AS SUPPLIED BY YOU, DISPLAYED (POTENTIALLY) ON ALL 300+ PLAYERS JERSEYS.

Club jerseys have a lifespan of two years. As the majority of the costs associated with their purchase are encountered in the first year of purchase, we offer reduced package prices in the second year of consecutive business sponsorship commitment.

*All sponsorship commitments on club jerseys MUST be for a two year deal (2009 & 2010).

KINGFISHERS CLUB PLAYERS SHORTS SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO, AS SUPPLIED BY YOU, DISPLAYED (POTENTIALLY) ON THE SIDE PANEL OF ALL 300+ PLAYERS SHORTS.

KINGFISHERS CLUB TRAINING SHIRT SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO, AS SUPPLIED BY YOU, DISPLAYED (POTENTIALLY) ON ALL 300+ PLAYERS TRAINING SHIRTS.

Training shirts will be provided by the club to each Kingfisher players and coaches and are an essential uniform requirement to be warn at all club training sessions.

These training shirts are intended to be turned over each year. As such a one year sponsorship commitment is required only, however if you wish to commit to a two year deal you will be rewarded with a discount on the second season commitment.

KINGFISHERS CLUB POLO SHIRT SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO, AS SUPPLIED BY YOU, DISPLAYED ON 90+ CLUB POLO SHIRTS AND POTENTIALLY MANY MORE AS THE POLO SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT ALL HOME GAMES.

Polo shirts will be provided to all Kingfisher committee members, team managers, coaches and all Snr A & Reserve grade players. Polo shirts are an essential Snr player (A Grade & A Reserve Grade) uniform requirement at all pre & post game functions.

The polo shirts are intended to be turned over each year & as such a one year sponsorship commitment is required only. However, if you wish to commit to a two year deal you will be rewarded with a discount on the second season commitment.

KINGFISHERS GROUND SIGNAGE SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES:

YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO, AS SUPPLIED BY YOU, DISPLAYED ON FIELD AT ALL HOME GAMES. PROMOTING YOUR BUSINESS AND ENHANCING THE RECOGNITION OF YOUR BUSINESS LOGO, TO NOT ONLY OUR LOCAL KINGFISHERS COMMUNITY BUT ALSO TO THE EXTENDED AUDIENCE OF ALL VISITORS TO THE HOME GOUND ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY GAMES.

Ground Signage has a lifespan of 2-3 years. As the majority of the costs associated with their purchase and/or printing are encountered in the first year of purchase, we will be offering reduced package prices in the second and third year of consecutive business sponsorship commitment.

*Sponsorship commitment is still to be calculated on the above mentioned items as quotes for printing are pending. Please express your interest on these items and we will get back to you ASAP with a confirmed dollar value for sponsorship commitment.

CLUB DONATION:

DONATIONS:

Donations can be made as either:

• MOMENTARY DONATION - (to be used for equipment, first aid kits, insurances, club house maintenance / extensions etc, or
• SERVICE or PRODUCT donation (to be used for auctions, raffles, prizes etc.)

We greatly appreciate any and all assistance from donations!

TEAM LEVEL SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES

POTENTIAL TEAMS TO BE FIELDED IN 2009 – U6’s, U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s, U11’s, U12’s, U13’s, U14’s, U15’s, U16’s, U17’s, U18’s, U19’s, U20’s,

Sponsor each individual player in a team(s) by purchasing the team players a:

• Bag,
• Head Gear,
• Cap,
• Polo Shirt,
• Hoodie,
• Tracksuit or
• Wet Weather Jacket.

*Sponsorship commitment value will be calculated on the purchase value of your selected garment for each individual team member and any/all associated costs of printing/embroidery of your business name and logo on each item. At this level of sponsorship it is essential that each player be included in the inial sponsorship value, however sponsorship value can be increased to cover the team coach, assistant coach and manager on request.

As Cromer Kingfishers JRLFC is a charitable institution, your sponsorship and/or donation is tax deductable. An official receipt will be issued to enable you to claim on your business tax return.

Terms & conditions:

1. 30% deposit for the 2009 season sponsorship commitment is to be received on return of this form (on or before Monday January 5th 2009). The remaining monies will be due in full on or before Feb 1st 2009. Payment can be made by cheque and posted to PO Box 126 Dee Why NSW 2099 marked attention of the Club Treasurer.

(Cheques are to be made payable to Cromer Kingfishers)

2. Business logo is to be provided in High Resolution images PDF or GIF format for use in printing and web design advertising. If any work is required to edit the provided image all expenses will be at the sponsors expense and additional to their sponsorship commitment.

3. If taking the opportunity to display your business (business showcase) at the home games on Saturday or Sunday’s it will be your responsibility solely to have appropriate insurance coverage of which a copy is to be given to the committee one week prior to the day. It is also the responsibility of the sponsor to set up and clear wares on these days.
